Our medical team is made up of orthopaedic surgeons specialising in shoulder, knee and hip surgery: Drs KERBOULL, ZILBER and SAILHAN.

ICEHG: a benchmark institute

The ICEHG was born of the desire of orthopaedic surgeons Luc KERBOULL, Frédéric SAILHAN and Sébastien Zilber to set up a Center of Excellence in Prosthetics in Paris specialising in hip, knee and shoulder.

Benefiting from their combined experience, they offer state-of-the-art, personalised surgical management for pathologies affecting the hips, knees and shoulders.

The team specialises in particular in prosthetic surgery: "first-line" prostheses and prosthesis changes.

This team of specialists also performs arthroscopies particularly for athlete pathologies.

Located at the Clinique ARAGO, the Espace Médical Vauban and the Institut Médical Sport Santé in Paris, these orthopaedic surgeons work in association. This enables them to discuss all cases collegially, from the simplest to the most complex.

The Doctors Luc KERBOULL, Sébastien ZILBER and Frédéric SAILHAN are qualified in orthopaedic surgery and specialise in hip, knee and shoulder disorders.

Their areas of expertise are :

The fitting of hip, knee and shoulder prostheses,
changes to hip, knee and shoulder prostheses.

Worn or loosened hip or knee prostheses first require the prosthetic implants to be replaced. In addition, the bone architecture of the affected joint may need to be reconstructed,

Treatment of degenerative pathologies, post-traumatic pathologies and sports injuries (cruciate ligamentoplasty, meniscal repair, partial meniscectomy, etc.).

To ensure optimal care, complex cases are discussed in a staff meeting, and decisions are taken on a collegiate basis. These discussions enable us to choose the most appropriate surgical strategy for each patient, for each individual situation: previously operated joint, difficult or special reconstruction, choice of prosthetic implants, surgical technique, rehabilitation management, etc.

You benefit from the skills and experience of 3 highly qualified surgeons and hyperspecialists in hip, knee and shoulder joint replacement surgery.

The Dr KERBOULL and the Dr SAILHAN were trained at the COCHIN Hospital and only perform hip and knee surgery.

For its part, the Dr ZILBER was trained at the Henri Mondor Hospital and also performs shoulder surgery.

All three have extensive experience of anterior hip surgery, both as a first-line operation and for certain revision procedures.

New technologies: for knee prostheses the Dr ZILBER uses a navigation system and the Dr SAILHAN uses robotic-assisted surgery (the MAKO robot) with 3D scanner planning. In certain rare and specific situations, our surgeons may opt for a made-to-measure hip prosthesis or a made-to-measure knee prosthesis (congenital pathologies, sequelae of childhood pathologies, etc.).
